Karukan (軽羹)

Karukan (軽羹) is Japanese confection in Kyushu. The origin of the name is “light” (軽) yokan (羹).
Originally, karukan was “saomono gashi (棹物菓子)” which is traditional confection like a form of long block. But “karukan manju” which is filled with red bean paste is famous.
